The Maturity Number is the quiet one. It does very little in your twenties, starts making itself felt in your thirties, and by your forties it is often the number running the show.
It is built by adding your Life Path Number to your Name Number, which is a neat idea: the direction life pushes you in, combined with the vibration you carry, adds up to who you end up being.
How to calculate your Maturity Number
You need two numbers you have already worked out.

Work out your Life Path Number from your full date of birth.

Work out your Name Number from your full name.

Add the two together.
- 4
Reduce to a single digit, keeping 11, 22 and 33 whole if you land on them.

- Life Path: 7
- Name Number: 5
- 7 + 5 = 12
- 1 + 2 = 3

When it starts working
Most numerologists put the turn somewhere between 30 and 40. It is not a switch. What people usually notice is that things they used to want stop mattering, and something they had shelved starts pulling at them again.
If your Maturity Number is very different from your Life Path, expect a noticeable change of gear in midlife. If they are similar, the second half of your life will look like a deeper version of the first.

Does the Maturity Number replace my Life Path Number?
No. It sits on top of it. Your Life Path keeps describing the road, and the Maturity Number describes the person walking it later on.
What if I changed my name?
Then your Maturity Number can shift, because it uses your Name Number. Most numerologists calculate it with your birth name first and then with the current name, and read the difference as what you chose to become.
