What it is
FreeSound Healing gives each of your numbers the tone of its ruling planet. Numerology links every number to a planet, and Hans Cousto's Cosmic Octave gives every planet a tone: its orbit, doubled until it can be heard.
Why it matters
Your Birth Number sets your sleep tone, your Life Path your meditation tone, and your Personal Day today's tone. It is a ritual for calm drawn from tradition, not a medical treatment.
How the app works it out
The chain is number, then planet, then Cousto tone. Rahu and Ketu have no tone of their own, so 4 and 7 use Uranus and Neptune, and master numbers sound through their root. The Sun, Rahu, Mercury and Mars are waking tones, so a Birth Number 1 or 4 sleeps to OM and a 5 or 9 to the Moon.
What you see in the app
- Sleep, Meditate and Today tabs, each with its planet's tone
- Why the tone suits you, how to use it and its beej mantra
- A singing bowl you can play, opening the Jambati bowl at your tone
- The nine number tones side by side
Open Sound Healing in the app, worked out from your own name and date of birth.
